Passover Sedar at our house...

We had a little bit of everything tonight, minus the bread, grains, and anything with corn syrup. The first picture is of the sedar plate with each item in its appropriate spot. This was also the first opportunity for us to use our fine china that we got almost 3 years ago for our wedding. Some of the typical Passover desserts we had were macaroons, flourless chocolate brownies, and jellied fruit slices. We also had some fresh fruit and I made some homemade whipped cream to go onto of said fruit. Food wise we had gefilte fish, matzo ball soup, chicken, brisket, veggies, and potatoes. Plenty of matzo was eaten as well, and will be for the next 7 days.

  1. Looks wonderful. Great setting and beautiful china. What are the puffs in the bottom of photo #4?

  3. Macaroons. They are coconut cookies. One is a cherry and chocolate and the other is chocolate chip.
