P.F. Chang's "General Chang's Chicken"

We don't have a P.F. Chang's anywhere near us, but it is if you go look in the frozen food isle of the grocery store. Noticed this sitting on the shelf the other night and finally decided to give it a shot. Gotta say, it was pretty damn tasty and wasn't that far outside the quality or taste from it in the restaurant. I served it on top of some brown rice. There are several versions of things off the menu offered and I am looking forward to trying each of these in due time.

Braised Shanks & Brown Rice

Easy dish, great in cold weather. Brown the meat and carmelize the onions..add a little broth and let it all cook a couple of hours. You will have a very concentrated cooking liquid that you dilute with more broth and add your carrots and brown rice. Total time about 3 hours but doesn't require constant attention.
