Chicken Fingers from Shane's Rib Shack

I am not a fan of Shane's Rib Shack...heck I can't stand the place. Today at lunchtime I went to go pick up the dogs from the kennel and just needed to grab something quick to eat on the way back to the house. I didn't feel like stopping someplace where I had to get out of the car, so my options were limited to either either Shane's or McD's. I gave the chicken fingers a chance and they weren't half bad. They weren't half good either. They weren't as salty as Zaxby's(a huge plus), but they were pretty tough as well (a huge negative). Anyway...I bought them, so I ate them.

Wendy's "NEW" French Fries

These new french fries have some skin on, are cooked in a "healthier" oil and are seasoned with Sea Salt. I use that term seasoned in jest. Those things were swimming in Sea Salt. The old fries we much better, but that isn't saying much.

Pork Club Sandwich

This was from the Exchange Tavern on Waters here in Savannah. Pretty much your basic club sandwich with sliced pork on rye. It was a good sandwich for lunch and I would probably order it again.

Beef Brisket from The Smoke Station

Served with cole slaw and sweet potato fries.

Truffles Grill - Hilton Head Island, SC

Part of the @Trufflescafe family of restaurants in Hilton Head and Bluffton, Truffles Grill opened last year on Pope Ave. Tonight I ate the Kobe Beef Burger with swiss cheese and steak fries. No bun with this burger as we are still celebrating Passover and the ketchup wasn't touched due to it containing corn syrup. Gotta say...this burger was outstanding, as is everything Truffles serves.

Forsyth Park Cafe' - The Fort Burger...

Decided to once again hit up the all new Forsyth Park Cafe' today. We actually went to the park so Brice could play for a while, but it was just cold enough to drive us back into the cafe'. Once in there I made the executive decision to get the Fort Burger and fries. I must say...that was a tasty burger. Nice touch putting the provolone cheese on both sides of the burger. Threw in another pic of the extra large condiments packages. Gotta love condiments!

Houndstooth Grill and Tavern

Buffalo grilled chicken quesadilla with ranch dressing and mushroom Swiss burger with fries. Good food and good atmosphere.They have nice outdoor areas for dinning and happy hour every day from 4-7pm.
