Chicken Parm from Carrabba's Italian Grill

You can't spell Carrabba's without carbs! This was my last bread heavy meal before Passover, so I loaded up. The fresh bread and spice mixture with the olive oil is always top notch. The ceasar salad was decent. The chicken parm, I split it with Brice, was as good as always. Good enough that I made a happy plate!

Go to McCray's if you want to feel like the king of Lawrenceville

Some chip things. Forgot the Name.
I rode the coattails of a gorgeous day outside Saturday into a pretty nice evening. We went to McCray's in Lawrenceville. The rooftop seating is really where it's at. Very cool. The courthouse view sparked an interesting conversation about Larry Flynt.

Ate some food. Some chip things covered in blue cheese bacon tomatoes and stuff, you really can't go wrong with these things. I had a Buffalo Chicken Panini. Pretty good. The fries were really crispy on the outside which I love. The breeze cooled them off pretty quickly though so I had to abandon them. My wife had the burger. Tasted like a stadium burger...which is great....if you're at a stadium. I'd stay away from it.

Sweetwater is their beer of the month. So we had a few $2.50 (!!!) 420s as well.

Spaghetti and garlic bread

Not bad, a nice cheap filling meal. Ate too much of it though. Just me and one of the kids so there was way too much bread for the two of us. Had no trouble eating it all though.

ATL state of mind: VORTEX in little 5 points

I never pass up an opportunity to go to the Vortex when I'm inside the perimeter. Last night after Them Crooked Vultures (great show) we hit up the l5p (aka the better) vortex.
Photobucket  I went outside my comfort zone and got a Tazmanian Devil burger. had pepperberry sauce and some pineapple mango salsa or something on it. I can't remember all the details, but it was good. Traded half for a Black and Spicy, big ass roasted red pepper on top and subbed provolone cheese. Washed it down with a big Sweetwater 420. Good food. Left there with some clean plates.

Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate

With raspberry filling! It's my afternoon treat for myself. And healthy, too!

5 Benefits of Dark Chocolate

  1. Studies have shown dark chocolate to lower blood pressure
  2. Studies have also shown dark chocolate to lower bad cholesterol (LDL)
  3. It turns women on more than a passionate kissing session (no wonder they want it for Valentine's Day!)
  4. Contains serotonin, a natural mood-boosting anti-depressant
  5. Stimulates pleasure-inducing endorphin production
