Margaritaville Pool Party...

Amazing food catered by Driftaway Cafe here in Savannah. Food included grilled fish tacos, home made tortilla chips with the best guacamole I have ever had. The salsa was also outstanding, along with the bean salsa with pita chips. The chicken came 2 ways...jerk and teriyaki. Both were great. We look forward to eating @DriftawayCafe in the very near future. http://www.driftawaycafe.com/
The bar was full stocked and we threw down on a variety of aged and spiced rums...along with plenty of Crown & Gingers.

Barberito's opened today here in Savannah and I couldn't be happier! Got a fajita salad with steak, black beans, lettuce, grilled peppers and onions, pico de gallo, jalapenos, cheese, sour cream, a little lime juice and the southwest vinaigrette. It was very tasty.

Got this last night from La Nopalera here in Savannah last night. Pretty much the only thing I eat these days in Mexican restaurants are fajita quesadilla's and theirs is pretty good. Theirs is filled with onions, peppers, tomatoes...all grilled up like a fajita...chicken, and cheese. Comes with the rice and all the salad fixings.

Shuck & Suck 2010
Eaten by
Chris Jervis

A buddy had his 5th Annual Shuck & Suck Oyster Roast and Low Country Boil this weekend (May 1). There were 5 bushels of steamed and roasted oysters, a ton of low country boil, great beers (micro-brew, gourmet, and mass merchandised beers) and the hit of the day were his stuffed oysters on the grill. Oysters stuffed with a mixture consisting of spinach, asiago and parmesan cheeses, onion, bell pepper, spices, and bread crumbs...stuffed and grilled for 15 minutes. Out of this world.
